Halloween

The title of this post is misleading, since nothing really happened on Halloween, and none of these photos are from then.  I found out that other people were taking babies Avery's age trick or treating and I got a bit excited at the possibility.  I really wanted to get chocolate, but Noel said "you're going to take our sick baby out in the crappy weather just to get candy for yourself?" so when you put it that way....  Avery was just getting over a cold and he goes to bed pretty early, so I decided not to take him.  But, we do have some photos of him in his costume, which was a present from my friend Sonya.  It's ironic because Noel and I HATE spiders!  We are both very afraid of them.  But Avery did look super-cute all dressed up.

The group photos are from our Breastfeeding Group.  I think I've mentioned it before, but it's one of our favourite places to do.  Most of us go every week.  The Public Health Nurse (who facilitates the group) suggested that we dress up the babies, so we did!  It was so fun (for the adults, at least!) and soooo cute!  The problem was that everyone brought a camera, so we had to sit there for a while.  Avery did not like that! 
 He lasted through maybe 3 photos before he had a meltdown.  At least I got a photo of him  where he's not crying.  In my photo he is staring at his little friend, Laura.  She is the pumpkin.  Laura likes to hug Avery but she also likes to take his soother.  : )

The other photos are because I didn't dress Avery up on Halloween (I was a bit overwhelmed and grumpy that day) so my Mom and Dad didn't get to see him in costume.  I felt bad so I dressed him up another day and took him over like that to visit my Mom and Dad.  They enjoyed it.  

I wonder what Avery will dress up as next year...
